What we hold, and for how long
If you're the couple
We store the email address you sign in with, the names, date and venue you enter, the answers and stories you write, and any photos you upload. Photos are stored privately and are only shown to guests who open your game.
If you're a guest
We store the first name you type, how you know the couple, the answers you choose and your score. We don't ask guests for an email address and guests don't create accounts.
How long we keep it
Your game stays live for twelve months from the day you publish it. Guest names and scores are kept for those twelve months so you can look back at them, and are deleted within thirty days after your game closes. If you delete your account before then, everything goes with it.
Who else sees it
Nobody. We don't sell data and we don't share your answers, photos or guest results with anyone. We use a hosting and database provider to run the site, and an analytics provider to count visits to our marketing pages.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie so you stay logged in, and your browser stores your setup answers locally as you write them. We use advertising cookies on our marketing pages when we run ads.
Your choices
You can edit or delete anything in your game at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and all guest results. Write to hello@doyouknowus.com and we'll do it within thirty days.
